Clients Ask …

Clients have asked whether the tragic earthquake in Japan would have an effect on the car industry.

Not only has it caused a shortage of new vehicles in the U.S., but there is also a parts shortage for vehicles that are built here.

I believe this will be temporary as the supply chain begins to fill back in over the next few months. In the meantime, we can expect to see:  less rebates offered by the manufacturers, retail dealers will be less willing to negotiate on car prices, and the selection the dealer has available will be limited.
